About Michelle L. Riordan, Esq.

Michelle became involved in the legal field in 2006 while attending Le Moyne College in Syracuse when she began working at a medical malpractice defense firm. Continuing through the legal field, Michelle has held titles in nearly all areas of a law firm. From student legal assistant to receptionist to paralegal, Michelle climbed the legal ladder with aspirations of someday becoming an attorney.

In 2019, after graduating from SUNY Canton with her Legal Studies degree, she then decided to pursue her goal of law school, and attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law in a part-time program. Michelle finished the four-year program in 3.5 years, passing the bar in July 2023 and being admitted to the NYS bar in September, 2024. While waiting for her admission to the bar, Michelle worked as a temporary legal analyst with Experian until the department was closed due to a business decision by Experian. In May 2024, Michelle accepted a position with the St. Lawrence County Conflict Defender’s office where she honed practice skills in a multitude of criminal and family court matters.

It is with gratitude and pride that Michelle is now opening her own client-centered practice and she looks forward to putting her experience and education to work for you.
